Weston Fisher

Weston Joseph Fisher, 87, passed away in Aberdeen on February 5, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1935 in Glendale, CA to Edward Weston and Rosalie Eloise Bailey Fisher. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked for many years as a geophysicist in oil field exploration. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Columbus. Weston had a heart to help and volunteered in any way he could. He would drive others to their doctor appointments, hold classes for immigrants wanting to be naturalized and he also served on the Board of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital personally working with Marla Thomas. Weston was instrumental in opening health clinics in the Delta and would be accompanied by his dog, Lisa. He did free-lance instructing for several universities most notably for a summer at Stanford University.
