Nettleton- James Anthony Riley known by family and friends as Tony or "T.R." or just simply Riley, 53, passed away on August 29, 2023. He was born on March 12, 1970 in Tupelo, MS to parents William H. "Bill" and Janice "Jan" Waycaster-Riley. Tony was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. There is no way to describe his being. He was a 4th generation farmer. He loved hunting, fishing, once even a little golf and a lot of hanging out with friends. He would give the shirt off his back and he never met a stranger; if you were you weren't for long. There are to many friends to list this article could not hold them all.
He is survived by his father Bill Riley, his sister Suzanne Looney (Eddie) and his brother Jason Riley all of Nettleton; two nieces, Terra Hill, Misha Riley and his fiancee Shannon Dale Evans.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jan, his grandparents Lunceford and Mary Faye Riley and George Mitchell "T' and Elizabeth Waycaster.
Visitation will be held September 30, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 pm at New Chapel Community Church.
A Memorial service will follow at the church at 2:00 pm . Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers or gifts you can make a memorial gift to the charity of your choice in Tony's name or to New Chapel Cemetery Fund or New Chapel Community Church.
