Timothy W. Morgan, 72, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at North MS Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo after an extended illness. He was born on September 9, 1946, in Amory to the Rev. Melvin David and Mae McWhirter Morgan. He had lived most all of his life in Nettleton but had resided in Saltillo for the past fifteen years. Tim was employed in the customer service department of Futorian/Stratolounger for 38 years and was an employee of at North MS Medical Center for eleven years before retiring, was an EMT and ambulance supervisor for the Nettleton Volunteer Fire Department for 28 years and was a lifelong member/deacon at Doty’s Chapel Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with wood, going fishing, hunting and camping. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Carlock Morgan of Saltillo; one daughter, Amy Morgan of Saltillo; his mother-in-law, Edith Carlock of Guntown; two sisters, Mary Ann Houston of Pensacola, FL and Sheila Sudduth (Ken) of Tupelo; one brother, John Morgan (Glenda) of Columbus; two grandchildren, Caleb and Kylie Pappa. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law, Miles Carlock.
