Sheryl Dianne Frazier

Sheryl Dianne Chance Frazier, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.  She was born on November 16, 1944 in Aberdeen to the late George Silas and Joyce June Webster Chance.  Sheryl grew up in the Hamilton and Bartahatchie area and attended Hamilton School.  She married W.L. "Sonny" Frazier, Jr. in 1966.  She owned and operated her own beauty shop in Louisiana until 1993 when she and Sonny moved back to Monroe County.  She enjoyed quilting and growing flowers.

Sheryl is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Woods, Pineville, LA, Stephanie Dufour (Ricky), Ville Platte, LA, Nikki Dangerfield (Marty), Aberdeen; son, Silas Frazier (Cammie), Bartahatchie; sister, June Stonestreet, Ocean Springs, MS; brother, Edwin Chance (Elaine), Hamilton; grandchildren, Kara Bell, Spencer Galland, Dakota Beckham, Sydney Smith, Ashton Norris, Tabitha Frazier, Brittani Tidwell, Luke Frazier, Tristan Dangerfield and Caleb Dangerfield; great grandchildren, Isabella and Rowan Jones, Kaiden Tidwell, Sage and Ava Galland; special friend, Glenn Shultz, Hood River, Oregon; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Chance.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Egger Cemetery With Elder Joe Nettles officiating.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:20 PM.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Tisdale Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen from 5-8 PM.
