Ruble Eugene Oliver, Sr.

Nettleton- Ruble Eugene Oliver, Sr. ,79, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the NMMC in Tupelo. He was born on October 13, 1943 in Monroe County to parents Wilson Oliver and Ida Mae (Sullivan) Oliver.  He lived most of his life in Monroe County. He had worked as an upholster in the furniture industry.  Ruble was a member of New Vision Worship Center Church of God in Nettleton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He loved his family and his pets.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at New Vision Worship Center Church of God with Bro. Bobby Allred, Bro. Steve Chappell and Bro. John Raper officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two sons, Eugene Oliver (Sandra), Mike Oliver (Crystal), five grandchildren, Evan, Mary Beth, Dillon, Candice, Abby Oliver, two great granddaughters, Emilia Kate Oliver, Elizabeth Hope Oliver, three brothers, Doyle Oliver (Joyce), Billy Joe Oliver, Bobby Oliver, two sisters, Kathleen Oliver, Faye Cooper and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Louise Oliver, second wife Anna Ruth Oliver, one daughter Delisa Oliver Freeman and one brother Shorty Oliver.

Pallbearers will be Evan Oliver, Jerry Box, Jeff Knowles, Perry Knowles, Bobby Oliver and Billy Joe Oliver.

Visitation will be Friday at the church two hours before service time from 12:00-2:00 p.m.
