David Dabbs

Aberdeen- Rome David Dabbs, 80, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Columbus, MS. Born on July 23, 1943 in Aberdeen,MS to Rome Turner Dabbs and Minta Taylor Dabbs. He was a graduate of Aberdeen High School Class of 1961 and went on to further his education with a degree in Forestry from Mississippi State University. David loved working on his row crop  farm, wood working and driving his tractor. He also watched and kept up with the stock market trading stocks. David loved his family, his friends and his country.  He was quite the character and had a larger than life personality. He taught his children many valuable lessons in life. He was a firm believer in hard work.
He is survived by his son, Roman Dabbs of Aberdeen; daughter, Kristina Dabbs Ojeda (Luis) of Wren; his grandchildren, Mariana and Leo Ojeda and his faithful companion Sheba (German Shepherd).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Brenda Featherston Dabbs and one sister, Sandra Dabbs Rogers.
