Rodney Riley

Rodney M. Riley, 63, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  He was born on March 25, 1960 to Paul M. and Frances Parham Riley.  A lifelong resident of the Nettleton and Carolina Communities, he was a member of the Carolina Community Church.  Prior to his retirement, he was an inspector for the Mississippi Department of Transportation and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music, and watching football.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. David Hill and Bro. Eugene Conwill officiating.  Burial will follow in the Conwill-Goodwin Cemetery in the Carolina Community.  

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Mackey Riley; his mother and father, Frances and Paul Riley; one son, Shaun Riley (Merrie), one granddaughter, Piper Grace Riley; one brother, Chris Riley; one sister, Kathy Riley McCollum; one niece; and several nephews. 

He was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Paul Riley.

Pallbearers will be Mike Malone, Glen Berryhill, Eddie Riley, Brandon Bynum, C.J. Riley, and Patrick Riley.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
