Robert William Schlicht

Nettleton- Robert William Schlicht, 74, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the NMMC-Tupelo. He was born in Monroe County on March 29, 1950 to parents Robert C. "Fiddler"  Schlicht and Betty (Christian) Schlicht.  He was a lifelong resident of the Nettleton area. He was a retired farmer and minister. He attended Faith Outreach Church in Okolona. Robert loved spending time with his family and when he was able he enjoyed working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan (Shumpert)  Schlicht, two grandchildren, Hayden Reddick Schlicht and Cameron Blaine Schlicht both of Dresden, TN and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 3,2024 in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Jimmy Bryan officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park-Verona.

Visitation will be prior to service from 11-1 pm at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Robert Shane Schlicht  and one sister, Brenda Holloway.
