Robert William Newman

Aberdeen- Robert "Bob" William Newman, 72, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at his residence in Aberdeen. He was born in Mississippi on March 31, 1952 to parents Andrew Chester Newman and Eva Lee (Thaxton) Newman. He attended Aberdeen High School. He was of the Methodist faith. He worked as a control room operator for Conoco now know as West Lake. Bob was an avid fisherman, MSU fan and a die hard Saint Louis Cardinal fan. He loved spoiling and joking with his great nieces and looked forward to spoiling the next generation.

He is survived by two sisters, Peggy Newman of Amory; Dee Casterline (Dale) of Hamilton; niece, Andrea Lee of Hamilton; great nieces, Kayla McSpadden (Haigen) of Hamilton; Haley Lee of Hamilton; and great-great nephew, Baylor Dean McSpadden of Hamilton and a host of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
