Robert Dean Blair was born March 14, 1939 in Monroe County, MS to Joseph Asbury and Mary Elizabeth Pennington Blair. Died May 31, 2023 at NMMC. He is survived by wife of 58 years - Barbara J. Gilreath Blair, son – Keith Blair (Angel), daughter – Leigh Blair Guin (Bryan), daughter – Kristie Blair Permenter - (Brad), grandchildren – Brandon Blair; Peyton Blair (Maddie); Austin Guin (Syd Allmond); Mason Blair; Meagan Guin; Tyler Guin; Autumn Permenter; Summer Permenter, siblings – Jeanette Clark (Don) of Westminster, SC; Edna Renfro of Horn Lake, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. He was proceeded in death by his parents, siblings – Mabel Collins (George), Durwood Blair (Alza), Hazel Volemert (Warren), Lester Blair (Opal), Mary Joe Blair.

He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1957 and pursued a 2-year technical degree from Shelton State in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was the retired owner of Blair’s Radio & T.V. Service, cattleman, avid sportsman, but most importantly a child of God.

Burial and services will be held graveside at Cockerham Cemetery on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 4:00 pm.

Visitation will be at the chapel of Tisdale-Lann Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Blair, Peyton Blair, Mason Blair, Tyler Guin, Syd Allmond, Bradlee Parish, Hunter McCain
