Raymond John Rottman, 98, passed away at his residence in Hamilton. He was born on December 1, 1923 in Cincinatti, Ohio to the late Ray and Barbara Schlapp Rottman. After graduation, Raymond honorably served his country, serving in the United States Navy during WWII. Raymond retired as a warehouse manager and moved to south Florida where he worked for the Miami Herald and Sun Sentinal delivering papers. He was a devoted Cincinatti Bengals fan, loved to watch horse racing and was an expert golfer. Raymond enjoyed a slower pace life in his later years with his beloved yellow lab, Odie by his side.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Rottman (Judy), Sunrise, FL; grandchildren, Amy, Sherry, Richard, Timothy and Gregory; 14 great grands and 2 great great grands; special friends Bruce and Angie Smith of Aberdeen.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Ginny.
Raymonds family will hold private services later.
