Randy DeWayne Smith

Randy DeWayne Smith, 70, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at his residence. He was born November 24, 1948, in Hamilton, MS to Merle Clayton Smith and Katheryne Pope Estes. He was a life long resident of Hamilton. Mr. Smith was a graduate of Mississippi State University. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Fabrivalve/ ITT Engineered Valves and was a car salesman for Lowe Ford. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Smith was a Vietnam War Veteran and received the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and other Medals. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife Linda Chandler Smith of Hamilton, MS, two sons Randall Scott Smith of Hamilton, MS and Jarrad Ryan Smith of Oxford, MS; two sisters Jo Ruth Baggett (Charles Wayne) of Hamilton, Ms and Kathy Crawford (Sam) also of Hamilton, MS. and his step-father Claude Estes of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
