Rachel Ollibee Rowell

Rachel Ollibee McDill Kincade Rowell, 78, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born on August 27, 1943 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Morris Mathis McDill and Lorene Ollibee McDill. She attended Liberty School. Most of her working career was at Glenn Manufacturing where she worked as a seamstress. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her 5 children. Rachel devoted her life to caring for her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a master gardener and enjoyed canning and making jelly. An exceptional cook, she took great pride in cooking for her family, especially her great grandchildren. She also loved to fish. Along with her husband Lacy, they attended the Baptist churches.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Lacy Rowell, Nettleton; daughter Rita Faye Kincade Richardson (Edward), Caledonia; sons, Joe Richard Kincade, Jr. (Ina), Derma, Waymon Earl Kincade (Barbara), Houlka, Bradley Glenn Kincade (Angie), Caledonia; sisters, Virgie McDill, Columbus, Kay Childs, Fern Bank, AL, Nettie Edmonds, Amory and Barbara McDill, Caledonia; brothers, Armon McDill (Judy), Caledonia, Waymon McDill (Cathy), Sulligent and Jerry McDill, Caledonia; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Richard Kincade, Sr.; son, Ike Mathis Kincade; grandchildren, Christopher Spruill and Jeremy Kincade; sister, Betty Kyles; brother, John Morris McDill.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Tisdale Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Mitch McWilliams. Burial will follow in Egger Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Richardson, Greg Richardson, Chris Reeves, Caleb Kincade, William Kincade and Eddie Honeycutt. Honorary pallbearers will be Morgan Kincade, Ethan Honeycutt, Clayton Honeycutt, Cayden Kincade and Timothy Buckner.

Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5-8 Pm.
