Pearl Haynes

Pearl Christine Haynes, 83, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born on November 3, 1940 in Dewitt, AR to Roy Emery and Lela Bridgette Davis Markham.   She attended school in Marked Tree, AR and she worked in retail sales for many years prior to her retirement.  She was the widow of Leland Haynes and her hobbies included quilting, flower gardening, and working in her yard.  Mrs. Pearl attended the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and she was the last member of her immediate family.  

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Larry Monaghan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Mike Haynes (Angela) of Nettleton and Steve Haynes (Stephanie) of Aberdeen; one daughter, Pauline Horton of Shannon; grandchildren, Dan Haynes, Leland Haynes, Bridgette Haynes, Timmy Haynes, Terry Haynes, Courtney Goodson, Chris Fears (Larissa), Brian Horton (Ashley), Colton Haynes (Whitney), Caleigh Hancock (Noah), Chaslyn Haynes, and Tanner Andress; 19 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Leland Haynes, she was preceded in death by 3 sons, Danny Haynes, Wayne Haynes, and Timothy Haynes; and 11 siblings.

Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. and from 1 p.m. until the service hour on Thursday at the funeral home in Nettleton.
