Patricia Watson

Patricia Ann Watson, 89, of Milford, DE passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 12, 2023 at approximately 9:30 pm at home with family. She was born August 18, 1933 in Winona, MS to the late D.L. Williams and Roberta Payne Williams.  Trish devoted her life to helping others, working as an RN for most of her life, and didn’t retire until she turned 83. Although she was quiet, she always brought a smile to those around her, always ready with an upbeat story or lighthearted joke. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a member of the Aberdeen First United Methodist Church and was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Watson Family Cemetery.  

Survivors include her son, David Hudak (Stefany) of Milford, DE; three daughters Ruth Anne Strickland (Tim) of West Point, MS, Corinne Carr (Anthony) of Bristow, VA, and Kimberly Watson-Roberts (Joey) of Sturgis, SD.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, D.L. Williams and Roberta Payne Williams; her husband, Henry Duke Watson, IV; and her sister, Sara Quin. 

Visitation will be from noon until the service time at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home. 

Donations in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Aberdeen or Strong United Methodist Church.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, condolences, and support during this challenging time. Trish will forever be remembered for the joy she brought to our lives and the lasting impact she made on this world. May she rest in peace.
