Nicole Jones

Nicole Denise Gillentine Jones, 56, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her home in Lackey.  She was born in Upper Sandusky, OH on November 29, 1966.  She attended Vaughn’s Beauty College and worked at Mrs. Elaine Dobbs beauty shop for several years.  Later, she worked as a dispatcher for the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Office and for the Monroe County E911.  She had a passion for dispatching and was always concerned for the safety of her officers.  She liked to attend auctions with her husband, Clayton, and read her devotionals.  She truly adored her grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 5 until 7 on Wednesday.

She is survived by her daughter, Brittni Rosales (Jose) of Hamilton; her son, Mitch Allen (Haley) of Aberdeen; her mother, Jeanette Langely (Bob) of Aberdeen; her brother, Brian Gillentine (Susan) of Amory, Shayne Yeater and family, Bryan Yeater and family; one sister, Tonya Yeater of Ohio; and father, Larry Yeater; and her grandchildren, Eli Allen, Parker Allen, Kullen Rosales, Amelia Rosales, and Destinee Rosales.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Anessa Michelle Gillentine and her husband, Clayton Jones.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
