Neil Caywood

Glendon Neil Caywood, 67, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  Born on March 24, 1956 in Indiana, he was a son to Glen and Betty Loehr Caywood.  He married the former Trina Thorn and has lived in Nettleton for the past 25 years.  For many years he was a machinist and worked on industrial water pumps.  He enjoyed flying model airplanes, watching westerns on television, and spending time with his family.  He was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Jones Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Wesley Stephens officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.  Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton is in charge of the arrangements.

In addition to his wife, Trina Caywood, he is survived by three sons, Jeff Smith, Bart McClara, and James Caywood; two daughters, Sarah Woods and Missha Caywood; 2 brothers, Larry Caywood and Brooke Caywood; and 7 grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jerry Caywood.

Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church.
