Michael Duane Peterson

Michael Duane Peterson, 72, passed away  on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at his residence in Aberdeen. This was his "End of the Trail". He was born in Torrance, CA on January 16, 1953 to parents Daniel Peterson, Sr. and Edna Pearl Ballard Peterson. Michael enjoyed fishing, camping and horse back riding. He was an avid outdoorsman  and he particularly loved history. Michael served his country proudly in the United States Marines. He was a former corrections officer for Comal County. He loved his family and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by two daughters, Shawna Peterson, Kathryn Peterson, three sons, Jason Peterson, Jeremy Peterson, Clint Peterson, two brothers, Daniel Peterson, Jr., Glen Peterson, two sisters, Linda Peterson Connor, Cheryl Peterson , eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his lovimg mother, Edna Pearl Ballard Peterson.
