Michael Crump

Michael Kay Crump, 70, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at his home. Born in Aberdeen on March 2, 1951, he was the son of K.G. and Ellen Bell Crump. Mike grew up in Hamilton, graduated Hamilton High School, and attended Itawamba Junior College. He was a U.S. Army veteran and prior to his retirement, he was a farmer. On December 20, 1969, he married the former Mary Barrentine. His hobbies included hunting when he was able.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Center Hill Cemetery with Rev. Roger McGrew officiating. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Crump of Hamilton; his mother, Ellen Bell Crump of Hamilton; two sons, Martin Crump (Latrisha) of Pass Christian, MS and McKedzie Crump of Hamilton; one daughter, Marissa Rivera (Nicholas) of Hope Mills, NC; one sister, Cherie Foster (Kenny) of Hamilton; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.
