Martha Jane Harris

Nettleton- Martha Jane (Hall) Harris, 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at her residence in Nettleton. She was born on February 12, 1943 in Lee County to parents Wesley Monroe Hall and Ruby (Warren) Hall. She was a seamstress, worked in several furniture factories. She and her husband owned Harris Grocery in Nettleton. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Billy "Jube" Harris, two sons, Ricky Joe Inmon (Tammy), Ricky Harris (Kim) all of Nettleton; two daughters, Rhonda Vaughn (Mike) of Hatley; Deanna Smith (Robert) of Nettleton; one brother, Jackie Hall (Missy) of Tupelo; three sisters, Sandra Shelton (Billy) of Plantersville; Wanda Bishop (Gary) of Plantersville; Edwinna "Winnie" Gist (Jimmy) of Nettleton; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Randle Inmon, and one brother, Sammy Hall.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton with Bro. Bubba Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harris Driskell, Robert Smith, Mike Brown, Skyler Neal, Cory Gist and Jimmy Gist.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Kilgore and James Duvall.

Visitation will be before service time from 11:00-1:00 pm at the funeral home
