Mark Posey

Charles Mark Littlefield Posey, 63, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at his home.  He was born in Austin, TX on August 11, 1959 to William E. Posey and Mary Reeves McGuire.  Mark was an excellent cook and known for his hamburgers especially while he worked for his sister.  He like to fish and watch television.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with David Lee officiating.  Burial will follow in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.  

He is survived by his brother, Timothy Posey; one sister, Cheryl Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Rebecca Posey Luker; and one brother Darrell Posey.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Lee, Rayford Schrock, Wesley Lee, Timothy Posey, Tom Smith, and Jeremy Lee. Honorary pallbearer will be Leslie Posey.

Visitation will be on Saturday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Family and friends may gather at the home of David Lee, 20723 Egypt Road, Aberdeen, MS 39730.
