Louis Charles Barder, 90, died Monday, September 24, 2018, at the Monroe Regional Hospital in Aberdeen, MS. He was born September 22, 1928, in Peoria, ILL to Louis G. Barder and Anna Kowasch Barder. He has lived in Aberdeen for the past three years. He was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Aberdeen. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War where he was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. He was retired from the C&G Railroad and was a truck driver. Survivors include two sons Michael Barder (Dolores) of Aberdeen, MS and Greg Barder of Tuscaloosa, ALA; four stepchildren, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the caregivers at By Your Side Care and Sandy Chism. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Sarah Barder, second wife Marie Barder, one daughter Peggy Street and one stepson.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Flynn, Gary Long, Coy Flynn, and Foster Street. Honorary Pallbearer will be Mark Flynn.
