Linda Jones

Aberdeen- Linda R. Jones, 76, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the NMMC-Tupelo. She was born in Baytown, TX on August 15, 1948 to parents Harry Allen and Ruth Johnson Allen. She enjoyed writing, coloring, drawing and crocheting. In the words of her children "she was a good Momma!" She dearly loved her family and she was dearly loved by her kids. Linda had a heart of gold and she will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be on Friday, March 28, 2025  2 pm at Tisdale-Lann Memorail Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Haughton Cemetery in Amory.

Visitation will be prior to service from 12-2 pm.

She is survived by two sons, Dale Jones (Michelle) of Aberdeen; Rodney Jones (Dawn) of Wisconsin; one daughter, Melinda Johson (Tony) of Mantachie; two brothers, Larry Allen (Vickey) of Texas; Richard Alderson of Texas; three sisters, Cinday Ware (Russell) of Idaho; Mary Allen of Texas, Vivian McCreight (Kim) of Texas; grandchildren, Little Bobby Green, Brandon Green, Dylan Jones, Nick Jones, Austin Jones, Matthew White, great grandchildren, Olivia Pope, Elizabeth Green, Oakley Cash Jones, Kinsley Mae Jones, Lee Jenkins, Matthew Malone and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Bobby Allen, Thomas and Robert Alderson.
