Dennis Larry Jourdan, 74, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at his home in Hamilton. Born in Macon, MS on July 20, 1950, he was a son to J.W. and Allene Langford Jourdan. Larry graduated from Macon High School and attended Delta State University where he played baseball. Sharing his passion for baseball, he coached his children from little league to high school. He farmed many years with his father later moving to Biloxi as a civil service employee for the United States Air Force. Larry had a big heart and always sought opportunities to help those in need. He was a jokester and loved to entertain others. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, and he was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. 

 A memorial service will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at New Prospect Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Avery officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour at the church. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family. 

 In addition to his wife, Ann Davis Jourdan, he is survived by three sons, Marc Jourdan of Kentucky, Cory Jourdan, and Lance Jourdan both of Hamilton; daughter, Ashley Burrus of South Carolina; 5 grandchildren; and brother, Charles Jourdan of Birmingham. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Betty Jane Jourdan and Alice Williams. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or to any organization of choice.
