Kevin Scott Olley, 61, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at his home in Aberdeen. He was born on January 9, 1963 in Havelock, NC Cherry Point Marine Corp Air Station to Bruce L. and Betty Scott Olley. Kevin was a graduate of Oak Hill Academy in 1981 and then attended Itawamba Junior College. From 1981-1989, he worked for Dexter Fortson Associates building electrical substations. Since 1989, he has worked in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas as a general handy man. He was a Mason with dual membership in his home Lodge, Caledonia #280 where he was Senior Warden and Columbus Lodge, #5 where he served as Senior Deacon which were Blue Lodge and 3rd Degree Master Mason. In addition, he was a Knights Templar in the York Rites plus 32nd Degree in the Valley of Corinth Scottish Rites. He was a Shriner and Senior Warden in Knights of St. Andrew. He often traveled extensively supporting other lodges.

He is survived by his father and mother, Bruce and Betty Olley of Aberdeen; one sister, Krista Olley of Aberdeen; one niece, Jessica Turnage (Steven); and two great nieces; and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
