Kaye Gibson

Nettleton- Sandra Katherine (Herring) Gibson, 70, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at her residence in Nettleton. She was born on December 31, 1953 in Lee County to parents Earl Bose Herring and Mary Jo (Weaver) Herring. She lived most of her life in the Nettleton area. Kaye was a retired teacher's assistant, librarian and bus driver for the Nettleton School District. She enjoyed the outdoors and reading. Kaye had a heart of gold and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November, 4, 2024, 1 pm at Gray's Cemetery with Bro. Larry Davis officiating. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton.

She is survived by her husband James B. Gibson, one daughter, Amy Vanlandingham, one son, James Justin Gibson (Laura), six grandchildren; Reese Vanlandingham, Brooks Vanlandingham, Lex Gibson, Jax Gibson, Annie Rhea Gibson, Lyrix Gibosn, two brothers, David and Sam Herring and one sister, Judy Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
