Kay Francis Rogers

Aberdeen- Kay Francis Rogers, 88, passed away on January 16, 2024 at the NMMC Hospice Unit in Tupelo, MS. She was born in Courtland Lawrence County, Alabama to Rufus W. Griggs and Lorene M. Dallas on January 8, 1936.  Her home was always open and you never left her house without a hot meal and a full stomach.

Services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen with Bro. Robert Earl Fowlkes officiating. There will be no graveside service.

She is survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Carter(Bill) of Pontotoc, MS; Billy Earnest (Melissa) of Hamilton, Alabama; Allen Ray Earnest, Jr. of Mooreville, MS; Steven Crews (Lisa) of Pigeon Forge, Tn; Casey Price (Jim) of West Point, MS, Josh Earnest of West Point, MS; David Crews of Columbus, MS; two sisters, Lou Kilgore of Helena, Alabama; Mavis Chism (Buddy) of Amory, MS and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband R.C. Rogers, three loving children, Bill Earnest, Amory, MS; Allen Ray Earnest, Sr., West Point, MS; and Mary Francis Traywick of Columbus, MS and a brother Buddy Griggs of West Point, MS.

Visitation will be on Friday before service time from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
