Johnny Strickland

Johnny Lee Strickland, 76, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on October 2, 1944 in Itawamba County to John Junior and Alma Taylor Strickland. For many years, he worked for Lucky Star as a sewing machine mechanic and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on guns.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home chapel in Nettleton with Rev. Sammy Raper officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.

He is survived by one son, Ritchie Strickland (Jamie) of Nettleton; wife, Neita Strickland; his grandson, Jadon Strickland (Maisie) of Nettleton; and his grandson’s mother, Peggy Roberson Strickland.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be on Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
