Johnnie Roberts

Johnnie Dewayne Roberts, 69, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the AMG Specialty Hospital in Batesville. Born on March 2, 1955, he was a son to John T. and Eva Nell Holloway Roberts. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School and worked many years in the oil fields. He enjoyed fishing and family get-togethers. 

Private family services in Oddfellows Cemetery will be at a later date.

He is survived by his father, John T. Roberts, Hamilton; sister, Theresa Pickle (Woodie), Hamilton; brother, David Deason (Denise), Slidell, LA; niece, Tiffany Pickle (Allen Rooks), Hamilton; nephew, Trey Pickle (Chelsea), Hamilton; great nieces and nephews, Rhett, Noah, and Adaline; step grandson, Lee Plaxico (Morgan); step great grandchildren, Daniel, Conner, Maggie, and Hayden Plaxico; a host of uncles, cousins and friends; and good friend, Wayne Hood.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Plaxico Roberts; his mother, Eva Roberts; and stepson, Junior Plaxico.
