New Albany- John Weaver Ozee II, 57, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the NMMC in Tupelo. He was born on March 23, 1965 in Alton, IL to parents John Weaver Ozee I and Joyce Lee (Hubbard) Ozee. He lived most of his life in Illinois but for the past twelve years he had resided in New Albany. He was a truck driver and the owner of Johnny's Trucking. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with Bro. Sammy Raper and Bro. Chuck Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his soulmate, Donna Hester, three sons, John Ozee III, David Gray, Brad Higginbotham, two daughters, Chassidy Jones, Becky Stanley, one sister, Christy Ranae Eyster-Lyles, 17 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Colten Gray and one step-mother Sally Ozee.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Homan, David Gray, Matthew Jones, Scott Bayless, Adrian McMillen and Nickolus Lyles.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons and his best friend Jeffrey Harrelson.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the funeral home from 4:30-7:00 pm and before service time on Tuesday from 12:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home.
