Jim Reddoch

September 4, 1940 — March 31, 2025

Aberdeen

Jim Reddoch, a devoted husband, father, and man of deep faith, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 31, 2025 at his residence in Aberdeen. Family and faith were the cornerstones of his life, guiding him in all that he did.

Jim often said that marrying his wife was the best thing that ever happened to him. Their love was the foundation of his life, and through her, he became part of a family whose support remained a constant source of strength for him and his own family.

A dedicated servant of his faith, Jim was elected as a deacon at Meadowood Baptist Church in Amory, MS, and later served for many years as a deacon at First Baptist Church in Aberdeen, MS. His commitment to his church and community was evident in the way he lived his life.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting, fishing, and exploring the natural world. He passed this passion on to his children, teaching them to appreciate and respect nature.

In 1973, Jim moved his family to Aberdeen, where he became a well-known and respected member of the community. His professional career spanned decades, including 20 years in the savings and loan industry, followed by 40 years in insurance sales. He concluded his working years at AutoZone, retiring in 2005.

Jim’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication to family and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
