Jewelene Hollis Ross

BARTAHATCHIE COMMUNITY – Jewelene Hollis Ross, age 96, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Bartahatchie. She was born in Vernon, Alabama. She lived most of her adult life in the Bartahatchie Community where she was a homemaker. She was an active volunteer in the community and a 4-H Leader. She was honored with a 60 year pin for her service in the Extension Homemakers Club. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church until closing in 2012.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Brackett of Bartahatchie, MS; and a son, Greg Ross of Bartahatchie, MS She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ross and mother, Ada C. Hollis.

Pallbearers are Dan West, Sammie Smith, Robert Duke, Wayne Davis, Kenneth Johnson, and Claude Cantrell.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m., until service time, Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
