James Arnold Welch

James Arnold Welch, age 59, died Friday, March 11, 2022 at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home.  He was born December 12, 1962 to Marlin Welch and Margrette Vice Welch in Columbus.  He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County where he attended Hamilton School.  He worked as a truck driver for Monroe County and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2022 in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Rev. Todd Bowen officiating.  Burial will be in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Welch of Aberdeen, MS; one daughter, Jamie Sellers (Joshua) of Corinth, MS; one step daughter, Teresa Kelly of Amory, MS; two brothers, Lester Welch of Hamilton, MS and Marvin Welch (Elaine) of the Athens Community; two sisters, Deborah Ann Webb (David) of Amory, MS and Rebecca Jones of MS; four grandchildren, Tyler Roach, Jaden Sellers, Addilynn Sellers, and Alannah Sellers; two step grandchildren, Brandy Kelly and Amber Kelly; one step great grandchild, Aylen Kelly.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers are Lester Welch, Marvin Welch, L. P. Welch, Nathan Batey, Sammy Fields, Ricky Honeycutt.
