James Owen Ott

James Owen Ott, age 73, died June 10, 2021 at his residence in Hamilton. He was born June 18, 1947 to Clarence Ott and Maxine Summerford Ott. He was a life long resident of Hamilton and a graduate of Hamilton High School. He retired as a self-employed painter.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Chuck Moffett officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Lorraine Ott of Hamilton, MS; one sister, Celeste Cockerham of Hamilton, MS; one grandson, Tyler Ott; three great grandchildren, Paris Williams, Jaylin Ott, and Kason Myers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Randall Ott.
