Hubert Leroy Guin, age 84, died Friday, December 21, 2018, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, MS. He was born August 29, 1934, in Monroe County to Clyde Guin, Sr. and Bessie Taylor Guin. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He was a retired truck driver for Merchants Truck Line. He was a charter member of the GMT Hunting Club. He was a faithful member and deacon of Southside Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Grace Laverne Riner Guin of Hamilton; MS; one daughter Tina Evans (Mike) of Aberdeen, MS; three sons Neal Guin (Gaye) of Hatley, MS., Tony Guin (Marie) of Hamilton, MS, and Sam Copeland (Dana) of Greenwood Springs, MS; four grandchildren Michael Evans, Stephanie Ritter, Dylan Evans and Cassidy Guin and three great-grandchildren Taylor Ritter, Chase Ritter and Jace Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother and one grandchild Hannah Rose Guin.
