Glenda Anne Williams, 80, died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Waverly Care Center in West Point, MS. She was born January 23, 1939 in Tupelo, MS to Willie Boyd Williams and Elva Claire Whatley Williams. She lived most of her life in Aberdeen but had lived in West Point for the past three years. Ms. Williams had a masters degree from Mississippi State University. She was a retired teacher and had taught in Becker, MS and Amory, MS. She was an animal lover. Ms. Williams was a member of Tranquil Methodist Church. She is survived by one brother Charles Ellis Williams (Betty Ann) of Aberdeen, Ms. and several cousins. There will be a private family entombment at a later date. Burial will be in the Lee Memorial Mausoleum.
