Donny Joe (Joey) Edwards

Donny Joe (Joey) Edwards, 60, passed away suddenly Saturday, December 15, 2018, at North MS Medical Center. He was born on February 1, 1958, in Lee County to Joe Hollis and Mavis Joye McIntire Edwards. He had lived most all of his life in Lee County, was a 1976 graduate of Shannon High School, became a journeyman wireman for IBEW until his health began to fail five years ago, and was a Baptist. He enjoyed fishing and was a humble, kind, man who would do anything he could for anyone. He loved his family and friends very much. Survivors include one son, Michael Edwards of Jackson; one sister, Terri Edwards ( Scott) Witcher of Plantersville; two brothers, Johnny Edwards and Sean Edwards, all of Nettleton; five nieces; three nephews; three great-nieces; four great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
