David Lynn Nelson

Aberdeen- David Lynn Nelson, 57, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at his residence in Aberdeen. He was born in Aberdeen, MS on December 22, 1966 to parents Charles Talbert Nelson and Judy Lane Oliver Stanford. David attended Hamilton High School. He worked his entire life, he did  everything from pulpwood hauling to maintenance at Peco Foods. David loved spending time with his family, he enjoyed being outdoors riding motorcycles. He traveled extensively throughout his life. David cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on  Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS. Burial will be in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Charles Nelson of Wildwood, FL;  girlfriend, Mary Jones of Aberdeen; son, Andrew Nelson (Samantha) of Lady Lake, FL; two daughters, Misty Livingston of AL; Janie King of AL; brothers, Donnie Stanford of New Zealand; Jessie Dale Stanford of Jackson, MS; Dennis Stanford of Nettleton, MS; Robert Nelson of FL; six sisters, Julie Stanford of Starkville,MS; Jackie Stanford of Pontotoc, MS; Jeri Sanford of Starkville, MS; Michelle Clark of MI; Anna Carr (Tony) of Coleman FL; Teresa Weicht of Bahrain; grandchildren Jesse & Levi Nelson, J J Atkins, Malaya-An Shows, John-David Shows, Bentley Brasfield, Hagen Brasfield, Kinley Brasfield, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, step-father, David Ray Stanford and sister, Janice Jones.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Scales, Jerry Miller, Jeffrey Rager, Robert Harris, Nathan Mularsky and Jonathan Marshall.
Visitation will be  before service time at the funeral home from 12:00-1:45.
