Connor Taylor

Connor Cleve Taylor 13, passed away on Tuesday evening August 6, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital—Golden Triangle. Born on March 24, 2011, in Tupelo, he was the son of Gary Cleve Taylor and Brandy Nicole Richardson Surunis. Growing up in Aberdeen and Caledonia, he was currently a 7th grader at Caledonia where he played in the band. Connor was the typical 13-year-old boy who loved being outdoors and on Tik Tok. He had a smile that could light up a room and was loved by his teachers and classmates. Fondly remembered by his peers, he was well-mannered, big hearted, and a pleasure to be around. Conner knew everything there was to know about cars and his dream always was to be a car design engineer. His short-term goal was to get his driving license for which he couldn’t wait; although, he had already been secretly driving. Connor was the best big brother to Amelia, and he loved his grandparents. He loved playing with his cousins and loved shopping at Target. 

 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with Pastor Ethan Boggs officiating. Burial will be in the Coontail Cemetery. 

 His is survived by his father, Gary Taylor and his mother, Brandy Richardson Surunis both of Caledonia; his sister, Amelia Surunis; grandparents, Gary and Annette Taylor, Regina Parks, and Marlin Richardson; aunts and uncles, David Holloway (Pam), Adam Holloway, Robert Herring, Micahel Richardson (Paula), Deanna Ohaver (Barry), Chasity Barger (Ken), Becky Thurston (Mark), Anita Frost (Dave), and Cideania Lugo; a host of cousins; special friends, Ethan Honeycutt, Jacie and Shelby Hammett, and Cooper Wilson. 

 Pallbearers will be Lee Estes, Raymond Estes, Mark Thurston, Jason Lindsey, Collin Walters, and Matt Carter.

 Visitation will be on Friday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
