Clinton McCormick

Nettleton- Thomas Clinton "Mack" McCormick ,86, passed away at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS on Saturday, October 19, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1938 to Will Tom McCormick and Dona Bell Henson McCormick. He was a graduate of Nettleton High School Class of 1956, retired from Tombigbee Electric Power Association after 43 years of service, served 9 years honorably, Sergeant First Class in the Army National Guard and was a lifelong member of the Shiloh Community Church. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family. If you knew Mack you probably spent some time with him on a fishing boat somewhere.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 1 pm in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton with Bro. Danny Estes officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial  Park in Verona.

Visitation will be Wednesday prior to service from 11-1 pm at the funeral home.

Clinton is survived by one son, Tommy McCormick (Ali) of Nolensville, TN; three daughters, Janis Taylor (Neil) of Cookeville, TN; Gail Hankins (Henry) Booneville;  Angel Harris of Nettleton; 5 grandchildren, Sydney Baker (Adam) of Colorado Springs, Co; Madison Pierce (Mason) of Murfreesboro, TN; Robin Kincade (Printice) of Olive Branch; Heather Holley of Nettleton; Baley Scroggins (Cade) of Guntown; and 5 great grandchildren, Wilson and Tucker Baker, Kade And Calin Holley and Ava Kincade.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Glenda Taylor McCormick.

Pallbearers  willbe Larry Green, Ricky Joe Green, Rocky Roper, Bill Long, T. A. Majors and Gerald Harmon.
