Bobby Joe Edwards

Nettleton- Bobby Joe Edwards, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at his residence in Nettleton. He was born in Mississippi on October 23, 1941 to parents Earl Duffie Edwards, Sr. and Pearl (Foster) Edwards. He was a life long resident of the Nettleton area. Bobby was a member of South Nettleton Baptist Church. He worked at Kruger Metal before he retired.He enjoyed hunting and watching old westerns on television. He was also an old car enthusiast.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton with Bro.Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 48 years, Maylene Edwards, two brothers, Paul and Duffie Edwards.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Barnes, Richard Parker, Logan Barnes, Blake Clippard, Cory Manley and Jeffery Sullivan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Guess and Tim Barnett.
