Barbara Neal

Nettleton- Barbara Ann (Wright) Neal, 85, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at her residence in Nettleton. She was born on September 5, 1939 in Itawamba County to parents Robert William Wright and Anna Kate (Dykes) Wright. She lived most of her life in the Nettleton area. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She retired as a seamstress with Reed Manufacturing. She was an avid collector of porcelain dolls and butterflies. Barbara enjoyed working in her yard, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and especially her Sunday evening visit with her  daughter-in-law, Brenda Neal.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Victory Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Fowlkes officiating, Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Nettleton will be in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Victory Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Timothy Neal (Karen), Michael Neal,  two daughters, Sarah Kennedy, Abby Sullivan (Myron), 27 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandchild, one brother, Lee Allen Wright (Angie) and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband , Lee Albert Neal, five children, Lee Neal, Harold Neal, James Neal, W.T. Neal, and Eloise Woods, one brother, Robert Wright, sisters, Patsy Wagner, Virginia Ruth McCarly, Wilma Jean McDaniel and Gwenda  Bennett and one granddaughter, Kristy Williams.

Pallbearers will be Vince Neal, Channing Neal, Steven Little, Samuel Little, Kameron Williams, Markie Williams, Josh Neal, Leeann Little, David Glen Little and Junior Neal.
