Aubrey Lavern Red

Aubrey Lavern Red, 70 died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at his residence. He was born August 3, 1948, in Arkabutla, MS to Herbert Ray Red and Mary Floyd Davis Red. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He worked at Pioneer Hospital in maintenance. He was a Baptist. Mr. Red served in the United States Army E5 Class. He enlisted in 1969 and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. His citations include two Purple Hearts and one Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster.
Survivors include his wife Ethel Chaffin Red of Aberdeen; one daughter Teri Dobbs (Johnny) of Tupelo, MS; two sons Tracy Red (Cristi) of Columbus, MS and Travis Red (Amy) of Okolona, MS; one sister and four brothers, eleven grandchildren , one great-grandchild, and a numerous number of nieces and nephews.
