Ashley Joyce Dill Britt, 41, passed away from this life on Wednesday, January 16, 2025, at her home in Pensacola, FL. Born on April 10, 1983, in Amory, she was a daughter to Donnie and Linda Dill. She graduated Hamilton High School in 2001 attended Itawamba Community College, Mississippi State University and earned an accounting degree from the Mississippi University for Women. She married Chad Britt on June 9, 2007, and lived in Pensacola, FL. She was an accountant by profession working for T.E. Lott and Company and she was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church in Hamilton. A fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide football, she also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Ashley was very artistic and loved crafting and painting and making and selling jewelry. Living on the coast, she also enjoyed the beach and camping. Ashley was passionate about cancer awareness and as a fighter herself, she sought opportunities to help those who needed it. Above all, her love for her family runs deep especially her nieces, nephews, and godchildren….and Annie.. 

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Center Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Duff. Burial will be in the New Prospect Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Chad Britt, Pensacola, FL; her parents, Donnie and Linda Hill; sister, Kim Schafer (Jeff), Hamilton; three godchildren, Ridge, Zoey, and Mallie Cooper; 4 nieces, Neely, Abby and Sadie Shafer and Maddie Hill; two nephews, Mikey Desmond and Mason Hill; her grandfather, Ray Hill; special friends, Kristen Reeves and Baker Cooper (Kyle); brother-in-law, Wesley Hill; sister-in-law, Cricket Desmond; and her fur babies, Ariel, Gunny, and Remi.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Bernice Dill and Betty Strickland; father-in-law, Jerry Britt; mother-in-law, Ivey Yarbrough; and fur babies, Pete, Tinkie, and Bella.  Tisdale-Lann Funeral Home of Aberdeen has been entrusted with the arrangements.

 Pallbearers will be Kyle Cooper, Jeremy West, Jeff Schafer, Andrew Young, Kevin Wilburn, David Estes, Jim Lenard, and Daniel Springfield.

 Visitation will be on Sunday from noon until the service hour at the church.
