Anna Juanita Hill

Nettleton- Anna Juanita (Morgan) Hill, 90, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 at her son's residence in Nettleton. She was born on October 28,, 1933 in Lee County to parents Murphy Morgan and Ethel (Estes) Morgan. She was a lifelong resident of Nettleton. She enjoyed going to church, reading her Bible, loved to crochet and taking care of her family. She was a member of Nettleton First United Pentecostal Church where she taught the same Sunday School class for 56 years.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Nettleton First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Jordan Davis, Rev. Larry Davis and Rev. Larry Hill officiating. Burial will be in Nettleton Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Donny Hill (Beverly), one daughter, Carol Hill Barnett (Rickey), seven grandchildren, T.J. Hill, Lindze McCarley, Brittany Tubbs, Kimberly Bell, Kevin Humbers, Brent Barnett, Karen Lansdell, seventeen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and one sister, Etoyce Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Eugene, Wayne and Dale Morgan, one sister, Opal Holley, one daughter, Sarah Hill Humbers, one son, Terry Joe Hill and one granddaughter, Connie Barnett.

Pallbearers will be Roger Morgan, Bill Lansdell, Reed Hill, Kevin Humbers, Daniel Tubbs, Stetsen Harlow and Kevin Bell.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Nettleton First United Pentecostal Church and on Sunday at the church prior to service from 12:00-2:00 pm.
